Many international institutions, including the United Nations and the World Bank, are predicting that the population of Africa will be increased by 2050. One of the predictable consequences is a significant increase in needs for the production of goods and demands for services based on appropriate technologies. Significant analytical efforts, design, engineering and scientific expertise will be required to address these complex challenges in different areas, to help and prevent consequences and control them, through a collaborative research approach in an environment in full transformation.

To continue this effort, the International Organization for Science and Engineering in Africa (IOSEA) is created by international researchers and teachers from different countries Africa who are involved in engineering, applied sciences including modelling system.
